The Cincinnati Enquirer featured me and Pippa Speaks Up! in the Sunday edition!
I’m so thrilled to share that the Cincinnati Enquirer featured my book, Pippa Speaks Up!, in its Sunday newspaper on May 26, 2024, under the title: “Local author’s children’s book equips kids to face anxiety.”
The full-length article reflects the fact that a recent New York Times article spotlighted how rising anxiety in kids is contributing to chronic absenteeism in schools, including local Cincinnati schools, to the point that the American Academy of Pediatrics has declared the growing mental health crisis among children and teens “a national emergency.”
Which is why Pippa Speaks Up! is so important!
The article says, “Through Pippa Speaks Up!, James offers parents and educators a tangible solution that empowers kids to face childhood anxiety and support their mental health right now, when they need it most.”
“The book is made timely given this year’s presidential election race, because the story takes place in the White House, after Pippa’s mom was recently elected president.”
So many thanks to the Cincinnati Enquirer for featuring me and Pippa Speaks Up! in the Sunday edition!
